The UFC wants to continue expanding their reach globally, and that expansion may take them into several new European markets in the next year. However, Europe isn't all that's on their mind in the next year.

UFC President Dana White revealed on Wednesday after the UFC 146 press conference that the organization may head to Macau, China, in the next year.

"Very soon," White said in an interview with MMAjunkie.com. "It will happen this year. We're this close. We are going to do a fight in China."

Macau is a tourism and gambling hub in China, home to the largest casino in the world, The Venetian Macao-Resort-Hotel. Incidentally, it's that venue the UFC would bring the card to, as it boasts a 15,000-seat indoor arena.

Penick's Analysis: The UFC will not stop expanding anytime soon, and moving on to China is the next step for them in Asia. Whether they've got the types of fighters on the roster to draw in that country remains to be seen, but that won't stop them from going after every new market they can attempt to run.
