Siyar Bahadurzada made a very successful UFC debut on Saturday in Sweden, knocking UFC vet Paulo Thiago out cold in just 42 seconds at UFC on Fuel 2.
After a brief early exchange, Thiago came in with a looping right, and Bahadurzada landed a left to the back of the ear and a big right to the jaw as Thiago had his head down. The right hand blow sent Thiago face-planting to the canvas, and the fight was all over.
The win was Bahadurzada's seventh straight, and the 11th fight of his career that he's finished with strikes. The loss was not only the third in four fights for Thiago, but it was also the first time in his 18 fight career that he's ever been stopped.
